Monayongpyeong (CEO Lim Hakwoon) announced on May 7 that it has officially begun expanding its global network by signing strategic business agreements (MOUs) with three hotel and golf club companies in Malaysia.

This MOU was signed with a total of three organizations: Park Royal Serviced Suites & Hotel Kuala Lumpur, The Royal Selangor Golf Club (RSGC), and Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC).

Park Royal Hotel, operated by the global chain Pan Pacific Hotels Group, is a premium urban accommodation located in downtown Kuala Lumpur. It features top-tier facilities and customized services for long-term guests, offering a luxury hotel and residence experience in the city center.

RSGC, established in 1893, is one of the first golf clubs in Asia with a 130-year tradition. It is renowned as a private, members-only club frequented by the Malaysian royal family and upper class. With its strict membership requirements and member-centric management system, it is regarded as a prestigious golf course and is often referred to as the "sanctuary of Malaysian golf."

KLGCC is a private golf club that has hosted world-class tournaments such as the PGA, LPGA, and European Tour. It has gained international recognition, including being selected as one of Asia's top 100 golf courses. Monayongpyeong became the first Korean company to sign a business agreement with KLGCC, marking a symbolic milestone in the expansion of its global network.

Through this agreement, Monayongpyeong plans to expand overseas exchange opportunities for its members while enhancing accommodation and golf benefits in Malaysia. In addition, the company aims to maximize strategic synergy with Asia's premium tourism infrastructure through joint marketing and service integration with its partners.

Jinsoo Kim, Vice President of Monayongpyeong, stated, "This MOU is an example of Monayongpyeong, as Korea's leading resort, joining hands with Asia's top-tier golf and leisure infrastructure to further strengthen the value of our global membership. We will continue to broaden our customer services by expanding international cooperation."

Meanwhile, on April 1, Monayongpyeong announced that the "Yongpyong Tourism Complex" was officially designated by the Ministry of Justice as a target area for the "Tourism and Leisure Facility Investment Immigration Program." Under this program, foreign nationals who invest more than 1 billion KRW in designated tourism and leisure facilities and maintain the investment for more than five years are granted permanent residency. Monayongpyeong expects to attract foreign capital from Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, which has strong investment potential and purchasing power. Based on this, the company plans to further strengthen its premium brand value by expanding into a global residential resort complex.
