JB Gwanggyo 2nd PFV to Complete Knowledge Industry Center in September 2030
Yongin City Expects 2,100 New Jobs and 600 Companies to Move In
Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on May 6 that a knowledge industry center with a total area of 140,000 square meters will be established in the Sanghyeon 4 District urban development zone.

Sanghyeon 4 District is an urban development project area being developed as an advanced industry and business complex in the area of 414-7, Sanghyeon-dong, Suji-gu. The knowledge industry center will be located on a 22,280-square-meter industrial research facility site, Block A2, within the district. This will be the second knowledge industry center to be built in Sanghyeon 2 District.
The knowledge industry center will have four basement levels and fifteen above-ground floors, with a total floor area of 140,344 square meters. The project developer, JB Gwanggyo 2nd PFV Co., Ltd., plans to begin construction in March 2027 and complete the center in September 2030.
Once completed, the city expects that about 600 companies in the manufacturing, bio, and information and communications sectors will move into the center, creating approximately 2,100 new jobs.
A city official stated, "The knowledge industry center will serve as an opportunity to attract outstanding high-tech companies and create new jobs," adding, "We will strive to make Yongin a business-friendly city so that it can develop into a central hub leading the future high-tech industry."
