Inspection of Cheongsong and Yeongdeok Sites
"2,722 Units to Be Supplied in Five Cities and Counties"
Kim Hakhong, Deputy Governor of Gyeongbuk Province, visited the temporary housing installation sites in Cheongsong County and Yeongyang County, which were recently affected by wildfires, on May 5, during the holiday period. He checked the progress and encouraged the officials involved.
On that day, Deputy Governor Kim requested, "In order for the wildfire victims to regain stability and return to their daily lives as soon as possible, please ensure that all temporary housing is installed by the end of May and ready for occupancy. Please also make every effort to secure the quality of interior facilities so that residents can live comfortably even in temporary housing, and thoroughly manage safety, including fire prevention."

Gyeongbuk Province plans to supply a total of 2,722 temporary housing units to five cities and counties affected by the recent wildfires. Of these, approximately 521 units will be installed in Cheongsong County and 94 units in Yeongyang County. In addition, 950 units will be installed in Andong, 241 in Uiseong, and 916 in Yeongdeok.
Gyeongbuk Province is also providing customized support across all aspects of daily life, including fire safety inspections within the temporary housing complexes, psychological counseling, and the provision of daily necessities.
