Mayor Oh Seungrok Attends 2025 Children's Day Festival in Nowon-gu

On the morning of May 4, Oh Seungrok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, attended the opening ceremony of the Children's Day festival held at Deungnamu Culture Park and offered his congratulations to the children celebrating Children's Day.

This year's Children's Day event departed from the previous format, which involved closing off the seven-lane Nohae-ro, and instead took place in nature by linking two locations: Deungnamu Culture Park and Junggye Neighborhood Park.

The festival grounds were organized into several zones: a performance zone, an experience zone, a play zone, a bubble zone, a safety zone, and special programs. These provided a wide variety of activities and attractions for children and their families. In particular, the added fun of searching for hidden photo spots and experience booths throughout the venue contributed to the festival’s enjoyment.

Popular performances such as the "Carrie and Friends Sing-Along Show" and the "Bebefin Happy Concert" were featured, along with programs including a miniature train experience, drone racing, astronomical telescope observation, and a toy market. In addition, a pop-up experience zone for "JUMP," a youth leisure sports facility currently being created in Hagye-dong, was also operated, offering a unique experience opportunity.

Mayor Oh Seungrok stated, "Another joy of this festival is freely moving between the two connected parks and discovering hidden experiences throughout the area. I hope that today, children can be the main characters, run and play to their hearts’ content, and create special memories with their families."
