Han Ducksoo's Side Criticizes Innovation Party Complaint: "Even Walking with the Underprivileged Reduced to Political Strife"

On May 3, the campaign of independent presidential pre-candidate Han Ducksoo criticized the Cho Kuk Innovation Party for filing a complaint against Han for violating the Public Official Election Act, calling it "a malicious attempt to provoke unnecessary political strife and drag us into a mudslinging fight."

Kim Soyoung, spokesperson for Han's campaign, stated, "We are appalled by the Innovation Party's political conduct, which has degraded even 'walking with the underprivileged' into a subject of political dispute."


On April 15, Han delivered food ingredients, purchased with his own money, to a restaurant in Gwangju that offers set meals for 1,000 won to help neighbors in need.


Previously, on May 1, the Innovation Party filed a complaint, stating that Han's actions "constitute a clear violation of Article 113 of the Public Official Election Act, which prohibits candidates from making donations."
