'Eterno Cheongdam,' Home of IU, Ranks as the Most Expensive
According to the latest announcement by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, all of the top 10 apartment complexes in this year's official price ranking are located in Seoul, continuing the trend from last year. Among them, the apartment with the highest official price nationwide is 'Eterno Cheongdam' in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, which is known as the residence of singer IU. In addition, high-priced apartments where many famous celebrities reside also made the list, drawing public attention.

According to the 2025 official price plan for apartment complexes announced by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in March of this year, out of 15.58 million apartment units nationwide, Eterno Cheongdam had the highest official price. The official price for a 464.11 square meter unit this year is 20.06 billion won. When residents first moved in at the beginning of last year, the official price was 12.86 billion won, meaning it has increased by 7.2 billion won in just one year.
The second place goes to 'The Penthouse Cheongdam' in Cheongdam-dong, which had held the top spot for four consecutive years until last year. This apartment is known as the home of actor Jang Donggun and actress Ko Soyoung. The official price for a 407.71 square meter unit this year is 17.21 billion won. After its completion in 2020, the official price was first set at 16.32 billion won in 2021, and from that year until last year, it maintained its status as the most expensive apartment in the country for four consecutive years. However, this year, it fell to second place as Eterno Cheongdam took the top spot.
Third place is 'Nine One Hannam' in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu. Residents include Bae Yongjoon and Park Soojin, G-Dragon, Ju Jihoon, Lee Jongsuk, BTS members Jimin and RM, top English instructor Cho Jeongsik, and football player Kim Youngkwon. The official price for a 244.72 square meter unit is 16.3 billion won, which is an increase of 5.63 billion won from last year, but it maintained its third-place ranking.

Fourth place is 'Hannam The Hill' in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu. Residents include Ahn Sungki, Lee Seungchul, So Jisub, and Lee Youngja, as well as producer Kim Taeho and Koo Kwangmo, chairman of LG Group. Built on the former Dankook University site, the complex consists of 32 buildings and 600 units, and the official price for a 244.75 square meter unit is 11.86 billion won.
Other notable high-priced apartments where celebrities reside include 'Acro River Park' in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu (ranked 6th), where Shin Dongyeob and Ko Soo live, and 'Galleria Foret' in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu (ranked 9th), home to actor Kim Soohyun. These are known as representative luxury apartments favored by celebrities.
