Jeonnam Hampyeong County announced on May 3 that it will operate the "Nabi Night Market" in conjunction with the traditional market during the 27th Butterfly Grand Festival.

This Nabi Night Market event, organized by the Hampyeong Cheonji Traditional Market Merchants Association, will be held at the Cheonji Traditional Market near the festival site until May 6. Every day during the event, an agricultural and marine product auction will be held at 7:30 p.m., with each item starting at 1,000 won.

The event is designed not only to celebrate the Butterfly Grand Festival, but also to offer local residents and tourists a variety of attractions, food, and hands-on experiences, while promoting the many charms of Hampyeong.

During the event, customers who purchase goods worth 30,000 won or more at the traditional market will receive a 5,000 won discount coupon that can be used immediately at the market, along with a raffle ticket. At the prize drawing, scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on May 6, a variety of prizes will be given away, including a wall-mounted air conditioner, a large mixer, an electric fan, and agricultural and marine products.

Lee Sangik, Governor of Hampyeong County, said, "We have prepared the Nabi Night Market, filled with the unique pleasures, flavors, and special experiences of Hampyeong," and added, "As this event fully embodies the charms of Hampyeong, we ask for the great interest and support of all visitors."
