Scheduled to Launch in July

Open Recruitment for Employees at Gwanak Job Happiness Corporation

Gwanak District (headed by Mayor Park Junhee), which is dedicated to securing jobs under the belief that employment is the best form of welfare, will launch the "Gwanak Job Happiness Corporation" in July to create high-quality jobs. The district is openly recruiting two employees to join at the start, with applications accepted until May 12.

The "Gwanak Job Happiness Corporation," which will begin full operations in July, plans to focus on employing vulnerable groups such as senior citizens. It will also establish self-sufficiency by reinvesting in job creation through responsible management, various public service projects, and profit-generating businesses, thereby continuously providing high-quality jobs to local residents.

The recruitment is for one position in the Management and Administration Team and one in the Business Planning Team. Any adult aged 20 or older who meets the qualifications may apply, regardless of region or gender.

For the Management and Administration Team, preference will be given to candidates with experience or certifications in accounting, human resources, or labor management.

The application period runs from May 2 to May 12. Applications can be submitted in person at the Job and Venture Division of Gwanak District Office or by registered mail.

In-person applications are accepted on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., excluding weekends and public holidays. For registered mail, only those received by 6:00 p.m. on May 12, the closing date, will be considered valid, and applicants must confirm receipt by phone.

The district will conduct a document screening based on the submitted materials and then hold interviews for those who pass the document review to select the final candidates.

The successful applicants will begin work in June after background checks and medical examinations.

Details of the recruitment announcement and further information can be found on the Gwanak District Office website (News & Announcements → Notices → Recruitment Announcements).

Park Junhee, Mayor of Gwanak District, stated, "As we are hiring the first employees for the soon-to-be-launched Gwanak Job Happiness Corporation, we hope to see many applications from passionate and professional individuals who can lay the foundation for the company. Since employment is the best form of welfare, we will continue to make every effort to create high-quality jobs that contribute to the happiness and stability of our residents."
