Opening of Danghyeoncheon Musical Fountain in Nowon District

Oh Seungrok, Mayor of Nowon District, Attends Opening of "Danghyeoncheon Musical Fountain"

On the afternoon of May 2, Oh Seungrok, Mayor of Nowon District, visited the Danghyeoncheon Musical Fountain (in front of the Nowon Mathematics Culture Center) to celebrate its first opening together with local residents.

This year, the opening of the musical fountain was originally scheduled for May 1, but due to a forecast of rain, it was postponed by one day and held on May 2. At the first opening event, a spectacular fountain show was staged along with eight newly selected songs. Approximately 500 residents, including Mayor Oh Seungrok, attended to celebrate the occasion together.

The Danghyeoncheon Musical Fountain operates once a day for 20 minutes at sunset from Wednesday to Sunday each week. The show starts at 8:30 p.m. from May to August, at 8:00 p.m. in September, and at 7:00 p.m. in October. Operations are suspended every Monday and Tuesday for maintenance.

Mayor Oh Seungrok stated, "The Danghyeoncheon Musical Fountain is a signature attraction of Nowon, where people can enjoy culture up close in the heart of the city," and added, "I hope that this year's fountain performances, blending music and light, will bring everyday joy to many people."
