A fire broke out at Lotte Mart in Songpa-gu, Seoul at 1:36 p.m. on May 2.
According to the Songpa Fire Station, the fire was completely extinguished at 2:27 p.m., approximately 51 minutes after it started.
The fire authorities responded to a report that sparks from welding work in a construction area inside the mart had caused the fire.
About 300 people evacuated due to the fire, and no casualties have been reported.
