Outstanding in Both Quantitative and Qualitative Evaluations
Proven as a Leading Institution in Youth Policy
The Muan County Youth Platform (Director Kim Sangjun) was selected as the "Best Institution" in the 2025 City and County Youth Center Performance Evaluation, which was organized by South Jeolla Province.
According to the county on May 2, this evaluation targeted 18 city and county youth centers within South Jeolla Province and comprehensively assessed youth support projects implemented over the past year through a quantitative evaluation (60 points) and a qualitative evaluation (40 points).

The Muan County Youth Platform achieved excellent scores in both the quantitative and qualitative evaluations, resulting in its selection as the best institution overall. In particular, in the qualitative evaluation category, the AI literacy competency enhancement project and the youth policy proposal contest promoted by the Muan County Youth Platform received high praise.
The AI literacy competency enhancement project was designed to strengthen the digital competitiveness of Muan’s youth and was recognized for contributing to their practical growth through AI content creation and hands-on education programs.
The youth policy proposal contest provided a venue for young people to directly identify local community issues and propose creative solutions, and was recognized as a model case of youth-led policy development.
Director Kim Sangjun stated, "Being selected as the best institution this time is thanks to the passion of Muan County’s youth and the efforts of everyone who has built this platform together," adding, "Going forward, the youth platform will continue to listen to the voices of young people and create diverse opportunities for them to grow freely within the community."
Han Seunghun, Head of the Population Policy Division, said, "Muan County is the only county in South Jeolla Province operating two youth centers (Muan-eup, Samhyang-eup), and is actively implementing various youth support policies such as the Youth Challenge Support Project and the Youth Employment Success Package and Certification Exam Fee Support Project," adding, "We will continue to provide generous support so that young people can realize their dreams and grow within the local community."
Meanwhile, the Muan County Youth Platform serves as a hub for youth policy in Muan County, supporting youth growth, participation, and communication. The platform plans to continue operating various programs aimed at improving the quality of life for young people and revitalizing the local community.
The Muan County Youth Platform is equipped with a cafe, media space, activity space, and youth hall, all of which are freely available to any young person in Muan County.
