On the 2nd, Gwangju and Jeonnam will be mostly clear, but clouds will gradually increase from the night.
According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the region will be on the edge of a high-pressure system moving from near the Shandong Peninsula in China to the southern sea off Jeju Island on this day. Morning lows will range from 7 to 11 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs will be between 17 and 22 degrees Celsius.
Waves in both the West Sea and the South Sea coastal waters are expected to reach up to 1.5 meters. Ultrafine dust levels are forecast to be 'good,' and fine dust levels are expected to be 'moderate.'
An official from the Meteorological Administration said, "Inland areas of Gwangju and Jeonnam will see large temperature differences between day and night, around 15 degrees Celsius, so please take care of your health."
