Jeonnam Hampyeong County announced on May 1 that it has organized an experiential event called "Urban Ranch Visit" to promote the freshness and value of domestic milk to family tourists in line with the 27th Hampyeong Butterfly Festival.
The Hampyeong County branch of the Korea Dairy and Beef Farmers Association will operate the "Urban Ranch Visit" experiential event at the venue of the 27th Hampyeong Butterfly Festival for three days from May 3 to 5. The event is designed to introduce the process of domestic milk and dairy product production, distribution, and consumption, allowing tourists to directly experience the safety and freshness of domestic milk. In particular, a variety of hands-on programs, such as milk craft experiences and milk cooking experiences, are prepared and have gained great popularity among tourists every year.
The experiential programs consist of "Milk Craft Experiences," including making a freshness-check magnet, making a fresh milk hat, making milk soap, and building with Block K-MILK, as well as "Milk Cooking Experiences," such as making fresh rose cheese rusk, fresh tiramisu, and milk ice cream.
In addition, a "Fresh Delivery Challenge Game Booth" will be operated, where visitors can compare the differences between domestic milk and imported sterilized milk, allowing tourists to naturally recognize the excellence of domestic milk while enjoying the game.
Bae Panyeol, head of the Livestock Division of Hampyeong County, said, "I hope you will directly taste and feel the freshness of domestic milk through the ranch visit experiential event, which has become a key feature of the Hampyeong Butterfly Festival," adding, "We have prepared various programs to share the value of domestic milk and the importance of the domestic dairy industry, so we ask for your great interest."
