Gwangjin District (District Mayor Kim Kyungho) announced that it has assigned 'object addresses' to a total of 181 key public facilities?including evacuation facilities, heat shelters, and children's playgrounds?in order to enhance resident safety and convenience.

An 'object address' is a system that assigns location information to outdoor facilities that are not buildings. By adding the name and number of the object to the road name and base number, it allows for the precise identification of specific locations.

As a result, 'Ppeongtwigi Park' in Junggok 4-dong is now labeled in a format such as 'Yongmasan-ro 28-gil 78,' making it easier and clearer to locate.

In particular, assigning object addresses enables the delivery of accurate location information in emergency situations, instead of vague descriptions, allowing for faster and more precise rescue operations.

By selecting 'object address' as a search condition and searching for 'evacuation facility' or 'playground' on the address information section of the Gwangjin District website, residents can easily find the locations of these facilities.

Kim Kyungho, Mayor of Gwangjin District, stated, "Assigning object addresses will serve as an important foundation for systematically managing blind spots in safety," adding, "We will continue to identify and expand the range of facilities eligible for object addresses, building a more comprehensive safety network."
