The scope of support for 'paid generative AI service usage fees,' which was implemented last year, has been significantly expanded compared to the previous year. Starting this year, all departments are given the opportunity for a larger number of personnel to learn the latest AI technologies and apply them to their work.

On May 1, the Authority organized a 'ChatGPT and Generative AI Practice' training program for all employees. The purpose is to enable staff to respond proactively to the rapidly changing digital technology environment and to enhance digital competitiveness.

While last year's special lecture on generative AI was an introductory session focused on introducing the concept and basic usage methods, this year's lecture covered advanced content centered on data analysis and practical application using ChatGPT. In particular, the program included examples that assist with data-driven decision-making and workflow automation, offering concrete methods and hands-on exercises for practical use, thereby increasing the effectiveness of the training.

In addition to ChatGPT, the program also presented case studies, features, and comparative analyses of various generative AI tools, enabling employees to actively select and utilize a range of options.

Rapidly advancing generative AI technology is emerging as a key tool driving innovation not only in repetitive tasks but also in creative problem-solving, decision-making, and data analysis. Such technology is also an essential competency for realizing smart administration, contributing to improved efficiency and responsiveness in public administration.

Commissioner Park Sungho stated, "Utilizing AI technology is now an essential competency, not a choice," and added, "We will actively support our employees in applying AI to their work and responding proactively in the era of digital transformation."
