The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Lifelong Learning Center is holding an exhibition of damaged books, including those with scribbles, under the theme "Books, Wounded."
The Lifelong Learning Center announced that from May 1 to June 29, it will host an exhibition in the 3rd floor, Second Reference Room of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Lifelong Learning Center. The exhibition introduces various cases of scribbles and damage found in borrowed and reference books, and delivers messages aimed at preventing such damage.

The main exhibits include: ▲display of books with scribbles and other damage ▲demonstrations of damaged book restoration ▲hands-on experiences in repairing damaged books ▲recommendations of books for those who have damaged books to read.
Cho Jungsoo, Director of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Lifelong Learning Center, stated, "Public books are valuable assets that everyone shares. Scribbling and other forms of damage can inconvenience the next user, so keeping books clean is the first step in showing consideration for others."
