On April 29, LG CNS signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement with the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at KAIST. Through this agreement, LG CNS will establish the "AX Talent Development Track" within the Department of Industrial Engineering at KAIST to select and support outstanding students. Selected students will receive full tuition coverage for their two-year master's program, along with a monthly stipend. To support smooth research activities, research assistant funds will also be provided to the department. Students who complete their master's degrees under this program will be guaranteed employment at LG CNS.

Applications for the AX Talent Development Track are scheduled to open in the second half of this year. Anyone can apply regardless of their undergraduate major. However, applicants with majors or practical experience in AI, data analysis, or mathematical optimization will be given preference.

LG CNS has continued to collaborate with major universities in Korea to foster outstanding talent. In August 2024, the company signed an industry-academia agreement with the Department of Industrial Engineering at Seoul National University to nurture talent in the fields of AI, big data, mathematical optimization, and consulting. In 2023, LG CNS established a recruitment-linked contract department with Korea University, and in 2024, with Yonsei University, creating departments such as "AI Data Science" and "Intelligent Data and Optimization" to proactively secure top talent.

An LG CNS representative stated, "Through our collaboration with KAIST, we aim to nurture talent equipped with core AX technical capabilities and further advance LG CNS's future AX business together with them."
