Operation in Front of the Picasso Mural in the Underground Public Pedestrian Passage
Seocho District in Seoul (District Mayor Jeon Seongsoo) will operate the 'K-Fashion & Beauty Coaching Station' every Sunday from May 4 to June 8 in front of the Picasso mural in the underground public pedestrian passage connecting Express Bus Terminal Station (Exit G2) and Banpo Hangang Park.
This program has been prepared for tourists visiting the Goteo·Sebit Tourism Special Zone. It is designed to allow visitors to directly experience K-fashion and beauty, making use of the unique characteristics of a location where tourism and shopping infrastructure are concentrated.
The program consists of K-fashion and beauty experiences such as personal color diagnosis and makeup suggestions, as well as face painting, henna tattoos, and aroma oil making. In addition, tourists who participate will be guided to major tourist spots and nearby shopping malls within the Goteo·Sebit Tourism Special Zone.
Tourists who wish to participate in the 'K-Fashion & Beauty Coaching Station' can borrow a 'travel topper' from the Goteo·Sebit Tourist Information Center, take photos at various locations throughout the tourism special zone, and upload them to social networking services (SNS). Anyone can join the experience by showing the uploaded verification shot to staff members across from the Picasso mural in the public pedestrian passage.
Near the event venue, visitors can also appreciate the 'Picasso Mural,' a modern reinterpretation of Picasso's unique artistic world by world-renowned graffiti artist Eduardo Luque (stage name Lalone, Spain), as well as the '24 Hours of Seoul' mural, which depicts the diverse daily lives of Seoul citizens through art.
Seocho District plans to present trendy content that combines K-fashion and beauty through this program, aiming to attract the interest of foreign tourists and foster the Goteo·Sebit Tourism Special Zone as a global tourist destination.
District Mayor Jeon Seongsoo said, "We have prepared this K-Fashion & Beauty Coaching Station with the hope that the Goteo·Sebit Tourism Special Zone will become an even more attractive space," adding, "We will continue to develop content so that the Goteo·Sebit Tourism Special Zone grows into a global tourist destination full of sights and experiences."
