Democratic Party Appoints Deputy Chief Director of Central Election Campaign Headquarters
"Field-Oriented Campaigning... Completing the Change of Government"

Shin Junghun Appointed as Head of Organization Headquarters for Presidential Election Central Campaign Committee Shin Junghun, Member of the National Assembly.

Shin Junghun, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea (representing Naju and Hwasun in South Jeolla Province and Chair of the National Assembly’s Public Administration and Security Committee), has been appointed as Deputy Chief Director and Head of the Organization Headquarters of the Central Election Campaign Committee for the Democratic Party of Korea in the 21st Presidential Election.

On April 30, during the inauguration ceremony of the election campaign committee held at the National Assembly’s main conference hall, the Democratic Party of Korea appointed Representative Shin as Head of the Organization Headquarters and launched its all-out strategy to achieve a change of government. The Organization Headquarters oversees party organizations nationwide and plays a central role in directing the vote-getting campaign by fostering organic cooperation between party structures and on-the-ground organizations.

Representative Shin stated, "I feel a profound sense of responsibility given the significance of this election, which is to bring about the complete end of the forces behind the rebellion," and added, "Together with Co-Director Kim Byungki, we will complete the Democratic Party’s winning strategy and boost voter turnout through a field-oriented, livelihood-focused campaign approach."

Representative Shin has served as Chair of the Democratic Party’s Chamjoeun Local Government Committee and as Chair of the National Assembly’s Public Administration and Security Committee, dedicating himself to local autonomy, balanced regional development, grassroots organization, and livelihood policies.

Meanwhile, this appointment is interpreted as reflecting the Democratic Party’s intention to strengthen its strategic organization connecting local and central levels and to actively promote on-the-ground, community-focused campaigning.
