Hanwha Aerospace Submits Second Revised Registration Statement for Rights Offering to FSS

From 850 Pages to 1,243 Pages

Hanwha Aerospace announced on April 30 that it has submitted a revised securities registration statement to the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) in response to the FSS's second request for corrections regarding its rights offering.


In a public disclosure on the same day, Hanwha Aerospace stated, "To resolve market misunderstandings related to the rights offering, we prepared and submitted a revised registration statement totaling 1,243 pages, as requested by the FSS."

The original securities registration statement for the rights offering was 850 pages long, but increased to 1,170 pages after the first revision, and has now grown to 1,243 pages following this second revision.


Hanwha Aerospace explained, "In this revised registration statement, we have provided detailed explanations regarding the background of the rights offering and the intended use of funds, as required by the financial authorities."


Hanwha Aerospace outlined its schedule, stating that if the rights offering proceeds, subscription for existing shareholders will take place on July 1 and 2, followed by a public offering from July 4 to 7, with the new shares scheduled to be listed on July 21.


Previously, on March 20, Hanwha Aerospace announced a rights offering worth 3.6 trillion won, and has since received two requests from the FSS to revise its securities registration statement.
