The Virtual Asset Crime Joint Investigation Division of the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office (headed by Chief Prosecutor Park Geonuk) announced that at approximately 3:40 p.m. on the 30th, it had completed the search and seizure of the Acrovista residence and office in connection with Jeon’s alleged violation of the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act.

Earlier, at around 9:00 a.m. on the same day, the prosecution had sent prosecutors and investigators to Acrovista to begin the search and seizure in order to secure related materials.

It has been confirmed that the search and seizure targets included the office of Covana Contents, previously operated by Yoon’s wife Kim Keonhee, as well as the residences of two aides who served as Kim’s personal secretaries.

Jeon and his family are suspected of leveraging their close relationship with former President Yoon and his wife Kim to intervene in election nominations and personnel appointments. Last year, the prosecution conducted searches of Jeon’s Buddhist temple and residence, during which they reportedly secured hundreds of business cards belonging to corporate executives, political figures, legal professionals, and senior police officers.

The prosecution has reportedly uncovered indications that Kim Keonhee received not only an expensive diamond necklace but also luxury bags and ginseng from a former high-ranking official of the Unification Church via Jeon, and is currently seeking to trace the whereabouts of these items.

The prosecution is also said to be investigating allegations that Jeon operated a secret camp in Yangjae-dong, Seoul, for former President Yoon Sukyeol.
