Guacamole and Chipotle Added to the "Bacon Tomato Deluxe"
Reflecting the Trend Toward Fresh Vegetables and Trendy Ingredients
McDonald's announced on April 30 that it will launch two new menu items: the "Betodi Guacamole Double" and "Betodi Guacamole Single." These two "Betodi Guacamole" burgers are new offerings based on McDonald's popular "Bacon Tomato Deluxe," enhanced with guacamole and chipotle sauce. "Betodi" is an abbreviation for "Bacon Tomato Deluxe."
The "Bacon Tomato Deluxe" has gained popularity for its harmonious taste, featuring the thick texture of a 100% pure beef patty combined with bacon, tomato, and lettuce.
These two new menu items were developed in response to recent customer trends favoring fresh vegetables and trendy ingredients. Guacamole is a spread made by mixing avocado, known as a healthy fruit, with fresh vegetables and lime juice, and is commonly used in Mexican cuisine. In addition, a chipotle salsa sauce made with spicy chipotle pepper and tomato is added, creating an exotic yet harmonious flavor profile.
The "Betodi Guacamole" will be available in both double and single versions. Both "Betodi Guacamole" burgers will also be included in McDonald's customer benefit platform "McLunch," which operates from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
