As of April 29, Cheongsong County had completed explanation meetings in a total of 23 villages, reaching 452 wildfire victims, and plans to continue holding these meetings in each village on a rotating basis.
During these meetings, the county provided detailed information on various support measures, including the installation of temporary prefabricated housing, demolition of damaged homes, and assistance for the agricultural sector. Officials also listened directly to the inconveniences and suggestions raised by the victims on-site. In particular, department heads responsible for disaster recovery attended in person to explain more concrete directions for support.
Governor Yoon Kyunghee stated, "The focus of these meetings is on direct communication with the victims and listening to their voices from the field," and added, "We will continue to hold regular explanation meetings in each village to implement tailored recovery measures and do our utmost to help the affected residents return to their daily lives as quickly as possible."
