The Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pilho) announced on April 30 that it has launched a special page titled '2025 Wildfire Damage Emergency Relief First Activity Report,' which details the emergency relief activities conducted in response to the wildfires that broke out simultaneously across the country in March.
This page includes information on the emergency relief efforts carried out by the association in response to wildfires that occurred in Ulsan, North Gyeongsang, and South Gyeongsang at the end of March, as well as the status of fundraising and future support plans.
According to the page, Hope Bridge provided more than 450,000 relief items?including emergency relief kits, bottled water, and shelters?to wildfire victims and firefighting personnel, and served approximately 10,000 meals to firefighters and wildfire response teams working on site.
In addition, more than 490,000 donors from across the country participated in fundraising for wildfire recovery efforts, raising over 43.7 billion won. The association also announced follow-up relief plans, including livelihood support for affected neighbors. Related information is available on the official Hope Bridge website.
Shin Hoon, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, stated, "We will continue to transparently disclose every step of the process to ensure that the donations collected through the participation of so many people nationwide are fully delivered to neighbors in crisis," adding, "Hope Bridge will remain committed and stand by the victims until their daily lives are fully restored."
