JLR Korea Introduces 'One Care' Program
Service Reservations and Inventory Status Managed in a Single App
JLR Korea is introducing the 'One Care' program, which extends its complimentary warranty and service package from the current three years to five years.
At a press conference held on April 30 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, Robin Colgan, CEO of JLR Korea, stated, "Korean customers have a strong interest in luxury and possess very high standards not only for vehicle quality but also for overall service." He added, "One Care is more than just a service; it is a promise and a new standard aimed at building relationships with customers based on trust."
JLR Korea analyzed customer satisfaction surveys and service operation data over several years. As a result, the company identified a lack of consistency and convenience in communication with customers, as well as insufficient delivery of the composition and benefits of after-sales services.
In response, JLR Korea devised the 'One Strategy' to integrate the entire ownership experience for customers. The company plans to launch the One Care program, an integrated platform called the 'One Care App,' 'One Store' for a digital-based purchasing experience, 'One Membership' for vehicle purchasers, and a YouTube channel named 'One Life.'
The One Care program will be offered free of charge to all customers who purchase any model by the end of the year. The coverage period for services such as emergency roadside assistance, pickup and delivery service that allows vehicle maintenance without visiting a service center, accident repair service program, deductible support program, and connected services will also be extended to five years.
The One Care App is designed to be accessible not only to current vehicle owners but also to prospective customers. It provides all necessary information for vehicle management, including model details, warranty status, maintenance history, and upcoming inspection schedules. Users can also make real-time service reservations or request accident repair estimates through the app.
One Store serves as an online showroom where customers can access information on desired vehicle models, check real-time inventory, and make advance purchase reservations. By operating alongside existing dealerships and sales channels, the company has expanded customer choices. In addition, vehicle purchasers can use One Membership to enjoy a variety of benefits, including premium dining, hotel stays, and golf.
On this day, CEO Colgan also introduced plans for electrification. He said, "JLR's goal is not to create separate electric vehicle models, but to offer electric versions of existing models," and announced, "We will launch an electric vehicle model in Korea next year."
