Gwangju Seogu Announces and Publishes Individual Official Land Values... Objections Accepted

For 47,171 Parcels... Objections Accepted Until May 29

Seogu District in Gwangju (headed by District Mayor Kim Ikang) announced on April 30 that it has determined and published the individual officially assessed land values for 47,171 parcels as of January 1 of this year, and will accept objections until May 29.

The individual officially assessed land values determined and published this time were calculated based on the standard land prices announced by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and went through verification by certified appraisers, a public inspection period, and collection of residents' opinions.

The published individual officially assessed land values can be viewed on the Real Estate Price Information website. Landowners or interested parties may file objections regarding the published values.

Objections can be submitted by completing an application form and submitting it to the Land Information Division at Seogu District Office or to a local Administrative Welfare Center, or by applying through the Real Estate Price Information website.

Objections received will undergo re-verification by certified appraisers and review by the Seogu Real Estate Price Public Notice Committee, and the final adjustments and publication are scheduled for June 26.

Jeong Jaecheol, head of the Land Information Division, stated, "Since the individual officially assessed land values serve as important data for calculating various taxes and charges, I urge landowners to carefully review the published information and actively participate in the objection process within the designated period if necessary."
