Gyeongnam Information College Opens "Well-being Brunch Specialist Training Course" for 50+ Life Redesign University

The Lifelong Education Center at Gyeongnam Information College recently held the opening ceremony for the "Well-being Brunch Specialist Training Course for Restart" as part of the 50+ Life Redesign University program.

This program is structured to systematically support a new chapter in life for the middle-aged generation through life redesign education, well-being brunch training, club activities, and job-seeking and entrepreneurship education.


At the opening ceremony, Park Yangsu, Vice President of Gyeongnam Information College, delivered a special lecture on the topic "What Is the Right Way to Play and Rest for Me?" He provided guidance on how to navigate life changes after retirement, which was met with an enthusiastic response from the participants.


Jung Yuji, Director of the Lifelong Education Center, stated, "We will actively support this program so that it goes beyond simple learning to fulfill the lifelong learning needs of the middle-aged generation, and leads to various forms of social participation such as reemployment, entrepreneurship, and social contribution through career and competency development."


The "50+ Life Redesign University" is a project organized by Busan Metropolitan City, offering specialized educational programs at each university for the middle-aged generation (ages 50 to 64) experiencing life transitions such as retirement. Since 2023, Gyeongnam Information College has been selected as a commissioned institution and has been operating related programs.
