Successful Applicants Announced on June 20 via Website
Gyeongnam National University will be accepting applications for new graduate students for the 2025 fall semester from May 12 to May 16, 2025.
This admissions period covers master's and doctoral degree programs at the General Graduate School and the AI·SW Convergence Graduate School, as well as master's degree programs at the Graduate School of Industrial Management, Graduate School of Education, and Graduate School of Public Administration. Notably, the General Graduate School has newly established the following programs this year: the Department of Counseling Psychology (master's and doctoral programs), the Department of Health Sciences majoring in Occupational Therapy (master's program), and majoring in Nursing (doctoral program).
Applications must be submitted by 6:00 p.m. on May 16, 2025, either in person at each graduate school's academic affairs office or by mail.
Document screening and interviews for each graduate school will take place by department on June 5, 2025. Only the Graduate School of Education will conduct oral interviews or written exams on June 7, 2025. Final successful applicants will be announced on June 20, 2025, via each graduate school's website.
The General Graduate School offers master's and doctoral degree programs in the following departments: Social Welfare, Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Education, Early Childhood Education, Korean Language Education, Business Administration, Political Science and Diplomacy, Architecture and Urban Planning, Military Science, Health Sciences (Food and Life Science, Nursing, Physical Therapy), Mathematics Education, Mechanical Convergence Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Nano New Materials Engineering, Naval and Ocean Systems Engineering), Convergence IT Engineering (Electronic Engineering, Computer and Software Engineering, Information and Communication AI Engineering), Social Infrastructure Systems Engineering (Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Fire and Disaster Prevention Engineering, Smart Construction Technology Engineering), Music, and Physical Education.
The following departments offer only master's degree programs: Humanities (History, Records Management), Media and Communication, Health Sciences (Food and Nutrition, Occupational Therapy), and Cultural Contents. The following departments offer only doctoral degree programs: Law (Real Estate Law) and Cultural Heritage Restoration Arts. The Graduate School of Industrial Management (evening) offers master's degree programs in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information and Communication AI Engineering, Defense Industry, Cultural Heritage Restoration Arts, and Taekwondo. There is also an online degree program in Future Mobility ICT Convergence Engineering and a contract-based program in Smart Manufacturing Systems Engineering (Small and Medium Enterprise Contract Department).
