The Korea Master Brand Awards recognize products and companies that go beyond simple product value to deliver deep satisfaction and happiness to consumers. The awards select the best brands based on a comprehensive evaluation of professional management performance and consumer brand awareness surveys.
Starting this year, Hoengseong County has set a new vision for Hoengseong Hanwoo: "Eco-friendly Hoengseong Hanwoo Leading the Future." Based on this vision, the county has established the following strategic goals: providing safe food for the public, strengthening the competitiveness of the Hanwoo industry, fostering a sustainable Hanwoo industry, and increasing the income of Hanwoo farmers.
In particular, Hoengseong County is creating an eco-friendly livestock model that addresses both present and future needs by establishing a livestock environment that leads carbon neutrality, building a mutually beneficial livestock ecosystem, and establishing livestock governance based on trust and communication.
Jung Soongil, Director of the Livestock Division of Hoengseong County, stated, "In the mid- to long-term, we will establish a sustainable, eco-friendly foundation for the Hanwoo industry. In the short term, we will do our best to improve breeding conditions and stabilize farm management by supporting embryo transfer, intensive management of high-quality cows, encouraging the production of premium beef in preparation for FTAs, and providing livestock materials for Hanwoo farmers."
Meanwhile, Hoengseong County plans to hold the 21st Hoengseong Hanwoo Festival from October 22 to 26 this year at the Seomgang Riverside area, making it an event for everyone to enjoy together.
