Democratic Party lawmaker Incheol Jo (Gwangju Seo-gu Gap) announced on the 30th that he held a "Meeting for Preparing an Integrated Society" together with lawmakers Hongcheol Min and Jeongbok Moon on the afternoon of the 29th at the National Assembly Members' Office Building.

The meeting was attended by more than 20 cultural, sports, arts, and parent organizations, including the Seoul Green Mothers' Association. The main topic was public-private cooperation measures to alleviate conflicts between economic classes, generations, and regions. Participants proposed several initiatives, including expanding community cultural hubs, increasing generation-integrated sports programs, establishing a parent leadership academy, and nationalizing public conflict mediation centers. They engaged in in-depth discussions on concrete platform-building strategies for an integrated society.

The lawmakers who hosted the meeting also presented specific plans for implementation. In June, they plan to officially launch a consultative body for promoting an integrated society (tentative name) to establish a public-private cooperation system, and in the second half of this year, they intend to push for the enactment of the "Basic Act on Integrated Society." Additionally, they plan to hold quarterly nationwide meetings to continuously reflect voices from the field.

Jo emphasized, "An integrated society that overcomes conflict cannot be achieved by declaration alone," adding, "We will elevate the 'Integrated Society Roadmap,' which combines culture, sports, and the arts, to a national strategy and actively pursue institutionalization measures that can be implemented during the regular session of the National Assembly."
