Krafton Acquires About 1.83 Million Neptune Shares... Stake Rises to 42.53%

Krafton will acquire all shares of Neptune Co., Ltd. held by Kakao Games.

According to the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system on April 29, Krafton acquired 1,837,039 shares of Neptune held by Kakao Games for 164,958,510,000 KRW. This amount is equivalent to 2.42% of Krafton's equity capital.

After the acquisition, Krafton's stake in Neptune, including shares it already owns, will be 42.53%.

Krafton stated, "This transaction involves the acquisition of all Neptune shares (39.37%) held by Kakao Games. Upon completion, we will become the largest shareholder of Neptune," adding, "The purpose is to secure a long-term growth engine through business diversification."
