On April 29, Oh Seungrok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the '2025 Nowon District Job Fair' held at Junggye Deungnamu Neighborhood Park in the afternoon.
The '2025 Job Fair' was organized to provide quality jobs for job seekers and offer companies opportunities to recruit talent, thereby revitalizing the local economy.
This year, a total of 42 companies, including Amorepacific, CESCO, Kyowon Kumon, Coupang Fulfillment Services, Coway, and Ceragem, participated in the fair. Through on-site interviews, they plan to hire approximately 300 people. Job seekers who participated were given one-on-one customized interview opportunities.
The fair was organized into three zones: the Recruitment Zone, where on-site interviews were conducted; the Related Institutions Zone, where 23 related organizations provided employment counseling, job training information, and job registration support; and the Event Zone for various side events.
In particular, the Event Zone offered a variety of experiences, such as personal color analysis, emotion oil therapy, caricature drawing, and resume photo shoots, providing visitors with unique experiences at the fair.
The opening ceremony was attended by about 100 people, including Mayor Oh Seungrok, district council members, and local residents. The ceremony proceeded in the following order: opening, welcoming remarks, congratulatory speeches by guests, commemorative photo session, and a tour of the venue.
Mayor Oh Seungrok stated, "I hope this fair creates opportunities for both job seekers and companies to grow together and contributes to revitalizing the local economy," and added, "We will continue to pursue job policies that provide practical support in the future."
