Korea Teachers' Credit Union Signs Faculty Welfare Agreement with Hanyang University

The Korea Teachers' Credit Union announced on the 29th that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Hanyang University to improve faculty welfare.

The signing ceremony was held at the president's office in the main building of Hanyang University, with Lee Gijeong, President of Hanyang University, Shin Isik, Chairman of the Hanyang University Labor Union, and other officials from both organizations in attendance. Through this agreement, the Korea Teachers' Credit Union and Hanyang University have decided to cooperate in various areas, including group enrollment in long-term savings benefits and the provision of welfare services.


As part of the agreement, the Korea Teachers' Credit Union plans to continuously provide services for Hanyang University faculty and staff, such as online and offline information on group enrollment in long-term savings benefits, operating mobile counseling centers, and holding coffee truck events.


Jeong Gapyun, Chairman of the Korea Teachers' Credit Union, stated, "This agreement will serve as a foundation for the Credit Union to help Hanyang University faculty and staff build stable assets and enjoy a variety of cultural experiences," adding, "We will continue to establish sustainable cooperative systems with more institutions to improve the quality of life for the educational community."


Founded in 1971, the Korea Teachers' Credit Union is the largest faculty welfare institution in Korea, with 920,000 members and assets totaling 76 trillion won as of the end of March 2025.
