Iksan City Recruiting New Applicants for 'Youth Tomorrow Savings Account'

Applications Open from May 2 to 21
For Working Youth Only

Iksan City in North Jeolla Province will be accepting new applications for the '2025 Youth Tomorrow Savings Account' from working youth between May 2 and May 21.


According to the city on April 29, the Youth Tomorrow Savings Account provides government support of either 100,000 won or 300,000 won per month, depending on the applicant, when eligible youth who meet certain income criteria save at least 100,000 won each month.

Those eligible to receive 100,000 won per month are youth aged 19 to 34 whose household income exceeds 50% but does not exceed 100% of the median income standard, and whose monthly earned or business income exceeds 500,000 won but does not exceed 2.5 million won.


Those eligible for the 300,000 won support are youth aged 15 to 39 whose household income does not exceed 50% of the median income standard and whose monthly earned or business income is at least 100,000 won.


To receive the full government support, participants must continue working for three years after joining and deposit at least 100,000 won of their own savings each month. Additionally, they must complete a total of 10 hours of training and submit a plan for how the funds will be used.


Applications can be submitted in person at the local Eup, Myeon, or Dong Administrative Welfare Center in the applicant’s area of residence, or online through the Bokjiro website. For more information, inquiries can be made to the Asset Building Support Call Center, the Health and Welfare Counseling Center, or the Welfare Policy Division of Iksan City.


A city official stated, "The Youth Tomorrow Savings Account is more than just a savings program; it is a system designed to help young people realize their dreams of independence. We hope that many young people will participate and prepare for a stable future."
