Guidelines Established for Standardizing and Systematizing Personnel Affairs
The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on April 29 that it had published "2025 Private Kindergarten Teacher Personnel Practice" and distributed it to private kindergartens and education support offices in the province.
This publication is a practical manual that standardizes and systematizes personnel-related tasks for private kindergartens in order to provide systematic support for their personnel management. It is designed so that kindergarten and education support office staff can more easily understand and handle personnel affairs on site.

The main contents include the appointment of private kindergarten teachers, regulations related to service and disciplinary actions, procedures and Q&A for leave of absence and reinstatement, and various forms that can be used. In particular, the manual contains specific and practical information so that practitioners can use it immediately in the field.
In addition, the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education included information on various teacher support systems it is currently promoting, such as "parental leave allowance support," "after-school program teacher salary support," and "short-term substitute teacher salary support."
Kim Byeongnam, Director of the Department of Early Childhood and Elementary Education, stated, "We hope this publication will reduce the personnel management burden on private kindergartens and improve administrative efficiency. If there are any changes in laws or systems in the future, we plan to publish revised editions to continue supporting the field."
