Introduces Its Unique Landscaping Culture for the First Time
Goyang Special City in Gyeonggi Province announced on April 29 that it would operate the 'International Exchange City Flower Exhibition Hall' at the Goyang Flower Exhibition Hall during the 2025 Goyang International Flower Exhibition, which is being held from April 25 to May 11, 2025.
The flower exhibition hall themed around international exchange cities was first launched in 2023 and marks its third anniversary this year. Each year, new overseas cities participate, offering visitors a vibrant introduction to Goyang's partner cities.
In 2025, cities from around the world are participating in the International Exchange City Flower Exhibition Hall, each showcasing their unique landscaping culture and natural beauty.
This year, Est Marne E Bois in Paris, France, is participating for the first time, drawing attention from visitors by introducing France's distinctive and elegant landscaping culture.
San Bernardino in the United States is displaying a floral painting donated to Goyang City, highlighting the friendship between the two cities. Hakodate in Japan is presenting flowers themed around cherry blossoms, azaleas, and wisteria, sharing the beauty and atmosphere of Hakodate with visitors.
In addition, the 'Sister and Friendship Exchange Cities' section introduces visitors to 17 international exchange cities from 10 countries, with a world map on display to help visitors easily locate each city.
This exhibition hall was created to strengthen friendly cooperation with international exchange cities, continuing the exchange of floral culture by exhibiting plants and artworks representing each participating city.
Meanwhile, the 2025 Goyang International Flower Exhibition, held under the theme 'Flowers, Imagination, and Scent,' is a large-scale event with more than 200 organizations and groups from 25 countries participating. The event features a wide range of indoor and outdoor exhibitions, performances, and hands-on programs.
