Busan Urban Corporation (BMC) held the first joint activity of the ESG council, which consists of five city-affiliated public corporations and citizen groups, on April 25. The event, titled "Eco-Friendly Plogging at Marine Tourism Attractions," aimed to establish a culture of ESG practices in the region.

Participants collected various plastics and waste through plogging activities around Songjeong Beach to help protect the marine ecosystem.
The ESG council, which was launched with a signing ceremony in March, plans to carry out a variety of activities in collaboration with the local community in the future.
Shin Changho, President of Busan Urban Corporation, said, "Starting with this first joint activity of the ESG council, we will make active efforts to realize ESG values through continuous cooperation with the local community."
