The event took place at the headquarters of Indomarco, Indofood's distribution affiliate, with the attendance of key officials including the CEOs of both companies. Through this agreement, Paldo will exclusively supply "Cute My Friend Pororo" (hereafter, Pororo Beverage) by utilizing Indomarco's distribution network.
Indomarco is a major distribution affiliate of Indofood Group, Indonesia's largest food company. The company is expanding its business in global markets, including Asia, the United States, and Europe. The two companies will carry out joint promotional activities and expand the range of products handled.
Pororo Beverage is the leading children's beverage brand in Korea. Since its launch in April 2007, approximately 800 million units have been sold. In 2018, it became the first children's beverage to receive Halal certification from Indonesia's MUI (Halal Certification Authority), thereby securing competitiveness in the Muslim market.
A Paldo official stated, "Through this business agreement with a company that has a large-scale distribution network in Indonesia, Paldo will be able to strengthen its local competitiveness," adding, "Starting with this opportunity, we will take the lead in promoting Paldo products as a representative of K-Food in the local market."
