Organizational Restructuring with the Introduction of a C-Level Management System
Ward, the operator of CatchTable, announced on April 29 that it has recruited Jaehong Kwon, former Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Woowa Brothers, in conjunction with an organizational restructuring.
Jaehong Kwon COO built up his expertise in platform business by working at Shinsegae, GS SHOP, and SK Planet, before joining Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baedal Minjok, in 2019. He served as COO there for 2 years and 5 months starting in 2023.
COO Kwon will oversee key business areas necessary for CatchTable's growth into a super platform, including strengthening the partner ecosystem and advancing existing services. He is expected to play a pivotal role in CatchTable’s expansion into a data-driven platform that encompasses the entire food service industry.
With this appointment, CatchTable has newly established a C-level management system consisting of CEO Taesoon Yong, COO Jaehong Kwon, and CPO Seokhwan Kim. Based on their respective expertise, the company plans to accelerate its transformation into a super platform for the food service industry.
