Gwangju University announced on April 28 that the "Excel Certification Course" offered by the Gwangju Youth Job Station Sangmu, which is operated by the university's Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, has received an enthusiastic response from young people. As a result, the program will be expanded into a regular course starting next month.
This course was designed to enhance young people's job skills by teaching various Excel functions and preparing them for the E-Test (Excel) certification exam. The April program covered everything from basic to advanced Excel features, including practical skills such as statistical functions, database management, and creating pivot tables, helping participants improve their capabilities.
The course provided young people with the opportunity to learn Excel skills that can be immediately applied in the workplace. Starting in May, Gwangju Youth Job Station Sangmu will operate this course as a regular program and will also offer a variety of other employment-related programs.
The Youth Growth Project is a joint initiative between the Ministry of Employment and Labor and Gwangju City, supporting unemployed youth aged 15 to 39 so they do not give up on their job search. Gwangju Youth Job Station provides a range of services to help young people enter the labor market and recover their daily lives. Interested participants can apply through the website or by scanning the QR code.
