Daegu Urban Development Corporation and Daegu Policy Research Institute Sign MOU for Joint Regional Development Research

Daegu Urban Development Corporation (President Jung Myungseop) and Daegu Policy Research Institute (President Park Yangho) agreed to cooperate for joint research and policy development aimed at regional development and revitalization, and signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at the Daegu Urban Development Corporation headquarters on April 28, 2025.


Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to conduct joint research on regional development, including housing welfare, urban development, and industrial complex development. They also aim to develop related policies to contribute to the advancement of the local community.

The main points of the agreement include cooperation on regional development and advancement plans through mutual business exchanges; sharing of technology, information, and experience for regional development; conducting joint research and developing policy and research projects; co-hosting and collaborating on seminars, forums, and academic conferences; and other mutual cooperation for the advancement of both organizations.


In particular, this agreement is expected to create a synergy effect by combining the institute's professional analysis with the corporation's diverse practical experience, enabling the discovery of practical and in-depth ideas and the efficient and effective implementation of policies.


Jung Myungseop, president of Daegu Urban Development Corporation, stated, "Through this agreement, we will achieve tangible results for the development of the local community based on the capabilities and experience of both organizations," adding, "We will continue to pursue a variety of cooperative projects to contribute to regional development in the future."
