Gwak Jongpo, Chairman of Yangsan City Council, participated in the 'Gyeongnam Gu Seokgu Seok Travel' campaign at Imgyeongdae on April 24, after being nominated by Park Changhyeon, Chairman of the Yangsan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Imgyeongdae, located on Wondong-ro in Wondong-myeon, Yangsan City, is a popular tourist destination in Yangsan where visitors can enjoy beautiful views of the Nakdong River. It is also known as a place where Choe Chiwon, a scholar from the Unified Silla period, used to relax and enjoy himself.
The 'Gyeongnam Gu Seokgu Seok Travel' campaign aims to promote local tourism consumption and boost sales for small business owners by encouraging local governments, public institutions, and residents of Gyeongnam Province to travel within the region, starting with 'Traveling from Gyeongnam'.
Since the campaign was launched by Park Wansu, Governor of Gyeongnam Province, many cities, counties, organizations, and companies in the region have joined. Gwak Jongpo nominated Oh Taewon, Mayor of Buk-gu, Busan, and Park Inju, Director of Yangsan Cultural Center, as the next participants in the relay.
Gwak Jongpo stated, "I hope many citizens will enjoy and travel to the various tourist attractions in Yangsan and throughout Gyeongnam," and added, "I expect this challenge to become active nationwide and bring renewed energy to tourists and small business owners."
