Gwangju Urban Corporation (President Kim Seungnam) announced on April 28 that, in celebration of the 103rd Children's Day, it will open the Gwangju Indoor Ice Rink to children free of charge and hold a variety of events.
This year's Children's Day event will take place on May 5, with free admission for children under the age of 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:50 p.m. However, children must bring their own gloves and sportswear.
In addition, to commemorate Children's Day, a performance by aspiring figure skaters will be held, and a photo zone will be set up inside the ice rink for visitors to capture memories. For more details, inquiries can be made to the Gwangju Urban Corporation Indoor Ice Rink.
Kim Seungnam, President of Gwangju Urban Corporation, stated, "I hope that children, who are the future leaders, will enjoy skating with their families and create precious memories," adding, "We will do our utmost to ensure the safety of sports facilities on the day of the event."
