Jeonnam Development Corporation (President Jang Chungmo) announced on the 28th that it recently conducted a company exploration program in the field of urban planning for about 40 students from the Department of Urban Planning and Regional Development at Mokpo National University. The program was designed to foster talent tailored to social demand by directly introducing the corporation's core projects, regional cooperation models, and outstanding employment cases on site.
This exploration program was organized to nurture professional talent in the field of urban planning and to provide information about the roles of public institutions and career paths. The corporation also explained the importance of urban planning and its own role, focusing on major urban development and industrial complex projects currently underway, as well as examples of eco-friendly space creation.
During the subsequent field visit to the Oryong District housing development project, explanations were provided regarding the planning and design direction of the new city. The students were able to directly observe the development site and vividly experience how urban planning is actually implemented. After the visit, there was an active Q&A session regarding the urban planning of the Oryong District.
Jang Chungmo, President of Jeonnam Development Corporation, stated, "We will do our best to provide practical information, career planning, and tailored employment support so that future urban planning professionals can pursue their dreams."
