Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center Anseong Hospital will hold a health lecture on the topic of dementia.
On April 28, Anseong Hospital announced that it will host a health lecture titled "Early Detection and Prevention of Dementia" for Anseong citizens on June 10 in the main auditorium on the second floor of the hospital.
This lecture has been planned to raise public awareness about the importance of early diagnosis of dementia and methods for prevention and management.
Song Jongmin, a neurologist and head of the medical department at Anseong Hospital, will serve as the lecturer. Dr. Song will focus on providing practical information needed by citizens, covering topics such as the early symptoms of dementia, differential diagnosis, approaches to treatment, and lifestyle changes for prevention. There will also be a Q&A session to allow participants to communicate and ask questions about topics they have been curious about.
Jang Youngrok, director of Anseong Hospital, stated, "Early detection is the most important factor when it comes to dementia," and added, "We have organized this program so that every citizen can access accurate information about dementia and practice prevention. We hope to see active interest and participation from local residents."
