Among the major projects in the first year, the mobile ICT education program provided customized software education to 92 elementary, middle, and high school students. In addition, a related makethon competition offered students opportunities to demonstrate creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, receiving enthusiastic responses from participants.

The Yongseong Middle School Korean Traditional Orchestra, supported by project funding, successfully completed an overseas performance and educational volunteer activities in Laos in January this year. The program was highly rated for boosting students' pride in Korean traditional music and their overall satisfaction with the program.

This year, the city will continue to build on last year's foundation and focus on enhancing the effectiveness of the 10 key projects by providing intensive support for future smart education, curriculum specialization, strengthening connections with local specialized industries, and nurturing global talent.

A city official stated, "We will continue to do our utmost to ensure that local students can realize their potential and grow into global talent, by thoroughly supporting each sector of the Education Development Special Zone, from strengthening basic academic skills to arts and physical education."
