On April 28, Acting President and Prime Minister Han Ducksoo carried out personnel appointments for nine heads of overseas diplomatic missions.
Kim Daeki, who had been nominated as Ambassador to China (former Chief Presidential Secretary) and Bang Moonkyu, who had been nominated as Ambassador to Indonesia (former Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy), both of whom were designated as special ambassadors during former President Yoon Sukyeol's term, were excluded from the list of appointees.
