Asan City to Host Oeam Village Night Festival... Programs Themed Around "8 Nights"

Asan City in South Chungcheong Province announced that it will host the Oeam Village Night Festival together with the National Heritage Administration and South Chungcheong Province from May 30 to June 1.

The night festival is a National Heritage Administration contest project and is a historical and cultural program where visitors can experience the nightscape of a traditional Joseon-era hanok village. This year, traditional cultural programs have been prepared under the theme of "8 Nights."

The performances will include a fusion show titled "Joseon Hipster" held in front of the Geonjae Old House, as well as busking and traditional Yeotjangsu (taffy seller) performances.

Experiential programs will include: ▲Jangwon Geupje! Joseon Golden Bell ▲Traditional Play Experience at Joseon Noreumbang ▲Yean Lee Clan Wedding Day ▲Oeam Conscription Room ▲Humanities Lectures.

In addition, a variety of other programs such as food stalls, marketplace events, and media art will be available.

Some programs require advance reservations, which can be made on the Oeam Village Night Festival website starting May 8.
