Theme: "Picturebook, the Space of Magic"
The 4th Jeonju International Picture Book Fair will be held at the Palbok Art Factory and Wansan Library in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, from May 29 to June 1.
According to the city on April 28, this year's Picture Book Fair will be held under the theme "Picturebook, the Space of Magic." The event will feature a variety of content, including original picture book art exhibitions by domestic and international artists, a picture book conference, lectures by original art creators, an art market and book market, and children's experience programs.
Among these, major programs such as the conference, lectures, hands-on activities, and portfolio reviews can be pre-registered through the official fair website starting at 10 a.m. on May 1.
In particular, during the Picture Book Fair, a picture book conference will be held on May 30, an on-site lecture by author Sara Lundberg will take place on May 31, and a "Dance Drawing" workshop with author Kitty Crowther will be held on June 1. Portfolio reviews for aspiring picture book authors will be conducted over two days, from May 31 to June 1.
