Shinhan 'SOL Travel Check Card' Surpasses 2 Million Issued... Short-form Challenge Contest Launched

Shinhan Bank will hold a short-form challenge contest from April 28 to May 16 to celebrate surpassing 2 million issued 'Shinhan SOL Travel Check Cards'.

The SOL Travel Check Card is a flagship product for overseas travel, jointly developed by Shinhan Bank and Shinhan Card. Since its launch in February last year, the number of cards issued exceeded 2 million in just 14 months. The total foreign currency exchange amount surpassed $1.2 billion, and overseas usage exceeded $1 billion.

For this contest, anyone can participate by freely creating a travel-related video?such as a special personal episode, a food trip with friends, or a healing trip with family?and uploading it to YouTube or Instagram (with the required hashtags #SOLTravel and #Solteca). After uploading, participants must submit an application via the Google Form linked on the Shinhan SOL Bank event page.

Shinhan Bank plans to select outstanding participants through an internal review and announce the winners on May 30. The selected 10 customers will receive the following prizes: 2 million MyShinhan Points and AirPods Max (1st place, 1 person); 2 million MyShinhan Points (2nd place, 1 person); 1 million MyShinhan Points (3rd to 5th place, 3 people); and 500,000 MyShinhan Points (6th to 10th place, 5 people). In addition, Shinhan Bank will randomly select 1,000 participants to receive a 'Starbucks Simple Meal Set' gifticon.

A Shinhan Bank representative stated, "We have prepared a variety of events to share and celebrate this milestone with our customers, who played a key role in helping the travel check card reach 2 million issued in the shortest time. We hope for many to participate," adding, "We will continue to enhance customer convenience as an essential check card for overseas travel and provide various financial benefits."
